My name is Liz Sloan Blauer - here’s the scoop on me:

Education

My BA in French with a minor in Economics didn’t seem very practical, so I finished my education with an additional two-year degree in Architectural Construction Technology.

Experience

At the end of my studies I began working for a custom cabinet manufacturer where I worked with customers designing kitchens, baths, entertainment centers, offices, and learning the ins and outs of the construction industry, becoming familiar with the people and process involved. I also designed my last two homes, acting as the general contractor on the first (a process I decided not to repeat on the second!).

But my favorite projects are always: remodels! There is nothing like taking an existing space and making it into something brand new; a space that flows and is both functional and beautiful. Home should feel good and work well; a place you love to be. If I come to your home, I am most likely remodeling it in my head.
